Well, due to this damn injury, I can't dress up in my normal costume to scare the kiddies when they come to the door tomorrow. I dress up as "Zombie Ted Williams". Anyway, it has been very cold here the past few days, so the kids can dress up pretty heavily and not overheat. No further news on the horror that is my knee.
What was really scary today was the market. It looks like everyone has agreed that the recession has ended, but that the old "V" shaped recovery is probably not in any way in the cards. I've seen a few pretty convincing charts that have us falling to around 960 on the S&P 500 before a correction is done, but things often over correct. The 20 year dead Nikkei market, where Japan wasn't able to remove it's bad debt and to stop deflation, resulting in Zombie Banks that had no money to lend because they needed all their cash to leveraged their bad debt. Real Estate values plunged by 80 Percent over an 11 year period. Real wealth over that period from 1989 to 2000 fell 16 trillion dollars. Still see a long, scary, ugly period of years to come before we have any opportunity to get our economy on track. And what jobs will there be and what will be the basis of the US economy? Boooo.......

What...no return to living fat? I guess I'll just continue to ruin the earth, overspend my paycheck, and blame whoever's in charge.
If that doesn't work I'll just pray really hard, because our god surely favors us and wants us to live rich.
finally, if that doesn't work....I'll, I'll, ahhh boy...it sure is hot in here...and what's all this water doing where the beach used to be.
