Legs Of Tin!


Did a shortened workout today, because this was the 4th day in a row, and I was sore and tired. I reduced the bike time, and skipped all leg workouts on the weight machines. Tomorrow I take Suzi to the eye doc and then lunch, so that is a day killer. Her eye doc is the slowest specialist I have ever seen. He is always about 30 to 40 minutes slow on getting her in, and then with eye drops and other crap, has her running from station to station for over an hour and a half. I was able to do 4 days of 30 plus minutes of jogging on the treadmill this week with one longer interval around 20 to 26 minutes, and then a slightly faster one of six to 10 minutes. My right let is getting much closer in size and shape to my left leg, with the exception of my right knee which is bigger. My calves seem even, but my right quad is just not quite structured like my left as yet. My limiter on the treadmill is still my right side lower back which gets stiff and sore around the 20 minute mark. I have pushed that back a lot, and hopefully will be able to keep pushing it further and further out. Next week I will try and get 2 of my 5 days at the gym to include only a single interval on the treadmill. Weather is atrocious. We have rain in the southern 10% of New Mexico, and snow for the entire upper 90%. It has rained for 24 hours, and been in the high 30's to low 40's. Storm is not supposed to pass thru until Friday evening. Even if I could get outside to run my usual trails, they would be impassible in many areas due to them becoming bogs!! Glad Terrible isn't here trying to ride his bike.....he would be one unhappy little bugger!
