Proprioception is the word I couldn't remember last post. It is the nerve and brain sense of the relative position of various parts of the body. It is lost generally with age, but in my case, I have also lost much of it from the nerve damage to my lower legs and feet from all of the disk bulging crap I went thru during my 40's and early 50's. We worked on it again today at the end of PT4. I will get the home gamers version on Dec 17th if UPS is right. Most of the rest of PT was as in the past...Exercycle, strengthening, stretching, and hiking around with that damn rubber band belt around my waist. Knee ROM is at 120 degrees. Only new activity today was sitting on a stool with wheels and using my bad leg to motor back and forth across the room. Anyway, I found out my PT charges to date, and they are $1400 for the 4 sessions including the initial evaluation. That puts me within two $200 PT visits of reaching my 5 grand limit. I will call Monday to Progressive to discuss the possibility of going over. I have scheduled two final PT sessions for the next two Wednesdays. On the way home I went to ultimate fitness and joined for 6 months. At $38 bucks a month, I will have access to all the equipment i need to PT myself and begin to rebuild my aerobic fitness. I got there at about 2:30 and there was only one person there. I asked the receptionist when was the best time to come when no one else is there, and she said 11:00 to 2:30 or so, so that will be my workout window. Saturday and Sunday will involve another hour walk and an hour bike ride if I can get that knee around far enough......
