Scooter Porn!

This is the new BMW Touring Scoot. It is a twin cylinder 650 with heated seats, grips, and an electric screen you can raise while at highway speeds, and lower in the city. Of course, it is 11 grand. Maybe some day I will get a used one and tour the country. Attempted to go out and jog/walk three days last week. The first one, I tried with the brace. That hurt my kneecap and the inside of my knee. Must have been too much unloading. I covered about 8 quarter miles with minute walks. The second time, I tried my chopat knee strap to try and isolate my knee cap. Did 6 three minute jogs with minute walks. That irritated hell out of my kneecap. Yesterday near sundown I tried the stability insoles. Did 4 1K intervals with two minute walks. That seemed to work the best. Came home after each and iced twice. Knee was generally a bit sore when I awoke the next days, but nothing traumatic. Tomorrow is week 12 since surgery, And they say you still improve for another three months or so, so lets hope so. Weather here has been like the surface of the sun. Supposed to be 101 to 104 again all week. This is like Mesquite weather. If we get back to normal, the late afternoon monsoon season should begin in the next two weeks. Sure hope so....could use the cooling and the water.....
