Well, it has been 9 days since I fought the truck, and a week with this albatross around my right leg. I realized today that even on the days I didn't run, I usually did core exercises, perfect push ups, and light weights. So, now all I can do is shuffle to the couch and bathroom, and try not to run over the cat. My left arm is still not happy, and my neck and back are not crazy about carrying this 30lb. cast in front or to the side of me whenever I try to do anything. My bride is taking good care of me and is holding up pretty well. My son has been studying up on civil war amputation techniques in case, when he comes here next February to train for the Gila Tour, I need his assistance. On a different note, I watched the President last evening on health care reform. While I think that health care for all Americans is a moral imperative , I do have lots of questions about how it all will work and what it will cost. But while I was watching it, they flashed to that duechebag Eric Cantor who was texting or twittering during the address. Now if the NFL can require players to keep their devises off for 90 minutes before the game, during the game, and 30 minutes after, why cant congress keep their members and staff from doing the same during a Presidential Address? It is embarrassing as an American to watch that crap occur. Please, all you Virginians, tell this twittering twit to get his shit together. He is just a fund raising political hack who follows his tan car salesman buddy John "the boner" Baehner around licking his ass. He does nothing for the folks he supposedly represents.
