All The Way To The Scene Of The Crash!

My good neighbor Joe and I took a walk today all the way to the scene of the crash. My blood stains in the street are the only reminders. they are widening the roadside to accommodate new drainage pipes, so had they done that in August, I probably wouldn't have gotten hit. It is a mile out and a mile back. The knee remains stiff, and the ankle gave me 2 good "ouches" along the way (wasn't the real word I used!). Otherwise, it was a clear cool sunny day and a nice walk with a friend. Won't try to walk farther than that until the x-rays come back on tuesday and I can start physical therapy. Was able to get my knee to around 100 degrees ROM this morning.
I purchased a nice home ultrasound machine a few days ago and it arrived today. Will try it later today for the first time. These devises were 500 to 800 bucks a few years ago, and have come down substantially. this unit, an LG-US1 was only $120. I will use in on my knee and ankle and on my brides outer back. (http://www.lgmedsupply.com/lgpoulun.html) Will let you all know how it works. Ultrasound is supposed to be highly effective on a variety of tendon, ligament, and muscular injuries. I bet that if I had used one on my left ankle that Terry tried to break last year, I would have healed faster. We shall see...
I also got to drive Deb's new car on Thanksgiving, and the friday after. Wouldn't want to drive in heavy traffic, but it is fine just around Deming. Deb doesn't like me driving her new car because I change all the CD, Seat, and Air Conditioning settings, Etc. Oh well. I at least put all the mats from the trunk in all the proper places so that's something.....

I'm imagining you hearing a roar of an engine as you approach the crash site....and Joe digging you out of the ditch after you jump for cover...only to find out it was thunder, or an airplane or something.

UltraSound? As long as you don't buy a trephining tool.
