Another 82 degree sunny day, with a ten day forecast that shows only one windy day and sunny temperatures between 78 and 82. WOW! Anyway, decided to slap on the heart rate monitor, put on the shoes, and try and put in a slow 9 miler. It was a slow plod, but I kept the Heart Rate average at 131, with a high of 135. Started slow and then got slower. Nice turtle boy run. Got the 9 miles in. Very little foot buzz and no back pain. Maybe I am ready to start to train again. Since the 1st race I would like to run is late July at the New Mexico Senior Games, I have time to prepare if things hold up! As always, another comeback trail.....is it my 200th?
