The Old Man And The River!

I have noticed in my two weeks here in Philly that I seem to be the only old man out there running. I told this to my friend billybob, and he said that "it's funny you say that, because before I got the Meso, I felt the same way when I was running here". I had noticed very few folks running during my livestrong philly race or during other runs on the sure-kill that looked to be older than 50, so today during my final 7 miler there during rush hour, I concentrated on everyone coming at me to see how old they looked. I must have observed at least 500 people on my run, and only one guy looked over 50, and he glared at me either because he thought I was trying to stare him down, or maybe he thought I was trying to pick him up. Kind of odd I think. I am still waiting for the Livestrong race results to be posted so I can look at how many folks were over 50 in that race. In any event, Old man river will hit the treadmill tomorrow, and then head home to the comfort of low humidity and nice dirt trails that I only have to share with Rocky and Ronnie the rattlers....

The eskimos kindly walk their elderly out onto the ice flows....

People in Philly kindly run their elderly down with bicycles. When the young folk see you running they think......F$&k!!!! we missed one!
